The 3rd Meeting of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Europe Region National Contact Points for Capacity Building will be convened in the Conference Hall of the Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB Europe) Premises in Baku, Azerbaijan from 27 to 29 January 2020.

The ROCB Europe in close cooperation with the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized an informative seminar for traders on 19 December 2019. The event stood as another fruitful example of public - private sector partnership.

The ROCB Europe paid a courtesy visit to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine on 29 November 2019 in Kiev, Ukraine.

A Train the Trainers Workshop was conducted at the Regional Training Center in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine from 25 to 29 November 2019.The event was organized by the ROCB Europe in close cooperation with the WCO Secretariat which benefited the customs officials of the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine.

A new staff member to the ROCB Europe has been assigned by the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Mr. Mirhasan Seyidzade, has been working at the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan for three years. He was hired as a lecturer at the Customs Academy of the State Customs Committee. Then he was promoted to Human Resources Department and International Cooperation
