World Customs Organization Advance Passenger Information/Passenger Name Record (API/PNR) Programme Workshop for the representatives of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan started in the premises of the Regional Office for capacity building for the WCO Europe region (ROCB Europe) in Baku on 5 June 2017.

At the opening ceremony the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Mr.Shahin Bagirov and the Director of the ROCB Europe Mr.Roger Hermann made a welcoming speech. The seminar is attended by expert trainers from Great Britain and Turkey.

The aim of the seminar is to share experience on administration issues related to the Advance Passenger Information System used in aviation communications. According to the program of the event a practical lesson is planned at the Baku International Airport.
