With the opening of the Tverečius checkpoint, the queues at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border will decrease.

After the resumption of the activities of the Tverečius border checkpoints closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border, it is expected to reduce the transport queues at the Medininkai checkpoint, which is currently being reconstructed.

Persons, cars and empty lorries can pass through the Tverečius-Vidzy border post.
