A delegation of UNODC led by Mr. Tofik-Murshudlu, Chief, Implementation Support Section of the United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime, pay a visit on 29 May 2017 to the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the WCO Europe Region in Baku while their official attendance to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The delegation was accompanied during the visit by Mister Norbert Steilen, Manager of the WCO Container Control Programme.

Roger Hermann, head of the ROCB told the audience about the history of foundation of the Regional Office, its aims and objectives. Especially emphasized was that the new Container and Cargo Training Center is completely installed on the backyard of the ROCB and is now ready to host any container training events for Customs Officials of the region.

During the visit the guests made a short trip over the premises of the ROCB. The delegation was impressed by the well equipped and modern furnished classrooms as well about the comfortable and representative conference room which offers everything that is needed for meetings and workshops and of course the most modern presentation media and telecommunications possibilities.
