Regional Intelligence Liaison Office for Western Europe (RILO WE), in cooperation with the Swedish Customs Service, organized the 19th National Contact Points Meeting in Visby, Sweden, on 13-14 September 2016.

The meeting was attended by delegates from Sweden, Belgium, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, WCO, RILO A/P, JIO Caribbean CCLEC, RILO ECE, RILO ME, RILO WE, EUROPOL.

ROCB Europe was represented by Technical Attaché Mr. Ali Murat PALA who made a presentation about the tasks and missions on ROCB Europe and how to increase cooperation between ROCB Europe and RILO WE.

The meeting started with the opening remarks by the Chair which was followed by introduction of new staff of RILO WE.

Update on Snowfox and Pompidou Report were submitted by representatives of RILO WE.

Presentations regarding New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) were made by the representatives of RILO A/P and RILO ECE. These were followed by presentations on DOTCOM (Development of Tools to Counter Illegal Management and Trade of Waste, RAN (Rapid Alert Network) and Exchange of Information.

On the last day information on SALW (Small Arms and Light Weapons) operations and CHIMERA were given through presentations made by RILO WE, WCO and JIO Caribbean delegates.
