4th Global  Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Conference organized by the World Customs Organization (WCO) will be held in Kampala, Uganda from 14 to 16 March 2018.

The Conference stands for a unique global opportunity for Customs administrations, business community, governments as well as policymakers and academics to articulate on the concept of Authorized Economic Operator and provides a platform for further exploring Customs - Private Sector Partnership with respect to implementing AEO Programs.

Attendance to the Conference by private sector is considered substantially beneficial since the concept ensures highly simplified trade procedures for traders. The working languages of the Conference will be English, French and Spanish which bears the theme “Promoting Mutual Recognition of AEOs to Strengthen and Secure Global Trade” for 2018.

There are no registration or participation fees to be paid by participants to attend the Conference. However, participants are responsible for all expenses related to travel, accommodation expenses etc.
