On December 12, the training on "Application of Risk Analysis and Criminal Intelligence in Strategic Trade and Export Control" started at the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region.
The First Deputy Chief of the General Department for Intelligence and Investigation, Acting Chief of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Guloglan Muradli, representative of the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region (ROCB) Haji Hajiyev, experts of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Oksana Nazarcuk, Ercan Saka and customs officers are involved at the event.
The training is carried out within the framework of the "Global Container Traffic Control Program" of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. The training continued with presentations on issues related to strategic trade, transit operations, export control, law violations, weapons of mass destruction, risk indicators, applied sanctions, research conducted in this field, UN Security Council Resolution No. 1540 and other topics.
Within the framework of the training, experts - Oksana Nazarcuk and Ercan Saka will share the experiences of advanced countries, distribute new materials related to the topics, and give various tasks to customs officials.
Interactive holding of the training, which will last until December 16, and a wide exchange of ideas on the topics are planned.
It should be recalled that within the framework of the "Global Container Transportation Control Program" various trainings have been organized for the officers of the State Customs Committee.
