Upon the kind of invitation by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, ROCB Europe attended the third United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) High-Level seminar and thirteenth session of the Working Group on Trade on 4 July 2019 at the World Trade Organization (WTO) headquarters on the sidelines of the WTO Aid-for-Trade (AfT) review meeting.

During the meeting, a variety of the topics were taken into consideration such as trade facilitation challenges and opportunities for sustainable development; policy principles for sustainable and inclusive trade development, non-tariff barriers to trade, and partnerships for trade facilitation and sustainable development in the SPECA subregion. 

ROCB Europe also took the opportunity to call for launching joint initiatives with the platform which would bring about potential benefits to all stakeholders having regard to the coverage of the ROCB Europe as well as the SPECA.
