Meeting of the Project on "Introduction of an Automated Intelligent Video-Control System at the Road Border Crossing Point Novaya Huta – Novi Yarylovychi at the Belarus-Ukraine Frontier" has started at ROCB Europe today.
The objective of the project is to increase the effectiveness of customs procedures at BCPs along the common border through enhanced pre-arrival processing capacity, leading to reduced border crossing time.
Participants from the Customs Administrations of the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as from the International Organization for Migration will exchange information on the project and Azerbaijan Customs will inform the attendees about its automated video observation and automated transport systems.
Hosted and moderated by ROCB Europe, the representatives will also visit the facilities of Azerbaijan Customs Operational Center, Gosha Tepe Customs Office, Air Cargo Center and Customs Academy as well as Regional Training Center and Regional Dog Training Center both of which are accredited by the World Customs Organization.
Funded by the European Union and managed by International Organization for Migration, the project aims at increased efficiency and effectiveness of the work of the Belarusian and Ukrainian customs services at Novaya Huta – Novi Yarylovychi Border Crossing Points.
