A Workshop on Improving Inspectional and Investigative Functions was delivered at the ROCB Europe premises on 27-29 November 2017 within the framework of World Customs Organization (WCO) – State Customs Committee (SCC) of the Republic Azerbaijan partnership.

The event focused on the issues related to particulars of customs inspections and control, customs investigations and interviewing techniques as well as bulk cash smuggling and trade-based money laundering.

The workshop was delivered by WCO Technical Attaché Mr. David Kane who has a substantial experience in customs enforcement, especially on smuggling, money laundering and commercial fraud among other fields.

Approximately 40 customs officials attended the workshop from SCC field offices.
