A Workshop on Common Transit Convention and New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) was held at ROCB Europe on 5-7 December 2017.
The event was held in partnership with Frontex, Serbian Customs Administration as well as the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and ROCB Europe. Items primarily focused within the context of the workshop included accessing and implementing the Common Transit Convention, basic principles and benefits of NCTS, national project plan for implementation and guarantee system mechanism.
Common transit procedure is used for the movement of goods between the 28 European Union Member States, EFTA countries (Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland), Turkey (since 1 December 2012), Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (since 1 July 2015) and Serbia (since 1 February 2016).
