The 5^th edition of the WCO Global AEO Conference will take place in UAE, Dubai, from 10 to 12 March 2020. The Conference will provide a platform to exchange innovative ideas, examine potential opportunities, and explore the steps required to take the Customs-Business Partnership Programme to the next level by introducing new features and a novel approach.

It has been more than a decade since the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) and Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) Programmes were introduced to enhance security and facilitation of global trade supply chains. The time has come to take stock of current AEO and MRA implementation and reflect on the way forward to ensure a sustained and improved implementation trajectory.
