A training on criminal intelligence was held from 14 to 19 November 2021 for Azerbaijan Customsat the Regional Office for Capacity Building of the World Customs Organization. The training is part of the Global Container Control Program, a joint project of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the World Customs Organization.

First Deputy Chief of the Main Investigation Department of the State Customs Committee, Major General of the Customs Service Guloglan Muradli spoke about the main goals set for the customs authorities, the achievements in the fight against smuggling in Azerbaijan in recent years, the Committee's constant use of advanced technologies to fulfill these tasks opened.

Haji Hajiyev, the representative of the WCO Regional Office for European Capacity Building in Baku, spoke about the importance of conducting the training live in the office of his organization, and wished success to the customs officers, considering it useful to discuss criminal information.

Afterwards, Miroslav Prljevic, a specialist in criminal information, spoke about the topics to be discussed and wished success to the participants.

It should be noted that since 2011, numerous trainings have been organized under the "Global Container Control Program" joined by Azerbaijan, and trainings on these topics are organized in various countries around the world.
