ROCB Europe Organizes Subregional Workshop on Electronic Data Exchange

A subregional workshop organized and funded by ROCB Europe on Electronic Data Exchange was held on 1-2 May 2019 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Nine Customs Administrations as well as representatives of ROCB Europe and World Customs Organization (WCO) attended the event. 

Delegates were informed about the Globally Networked Customs, use of international standards for harmonized data exchange and WCO Data Model during the subregional Workshop. Participating Customs Administrations provided presentations about their practices within the context of the Workshop as well. 

Participants appreciated the effectiveness of the Workshop and underlined that there should be follow up events on the matter.
