Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, His Excellency Erkan ÖZORAL paid a visit to the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region (ROCB Europe) on 23 July 2019.

Dring the visit, His Excellency was briefed about the ROCB Europe and its current outlook as well as its strategy and tentative activities with regard to customs capacity building initiatives and further development of cooperation among the Member Administrations within the context of World Customs Organization Europe Region.

Underlining his readiness to support the ROCB Europe in its work for the Region, Mr. Ambassador congratulated and wished a successful term to Mr. Eser ÇENGEL, the new head of the Office.

His Excellency also kindly accepted a tour of the Office building and examined the facilities with the information provided.

Regional Office for Capacity Building for the World Customs Organization Europe Region is a regional organization that serves Customs Administrations of the WCO Europe Region Countries on customs capacity building through a variety of methods including but no limited to training of customs officials, exchange of best practices among the Members, providing a platform for cooperation and communication.
